Super short positions betting against ETH starting from $2940 are gradually closing, with a remaining position of $16.45 million.

ChainCatcher reports that, according to HyperInsight monitoring, a certain “ETH super short” has been firmly shorting since $2,940 and has recently begun reducing their position. Currently, their unrealized profit has expanded to $8.34 million, with their short positions worth $88.9 million being gradually closed and now valued at $16.45 million.

This whale has accumulated over $80.9 million in profits from shorting ETH. Since 2024, they have been continuously shorting ETH on Hyperliquid, always using the highest leverage (previously 50x, now 25x).
