Gate News message, April 20 — Lennix, global business officer at a major CEX, delivered a keynote speech titled “Start building on Onchain OS” at the 2026 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival summit. He discussed how AI Agents are transforming trading patterns, the design of onchain operating systems, and the evolution of Web3 infrastructure.
Lennix noted that with the rapid advancement of large language models and AI Agents, users are increasingly delegating market monitoring, signal generation, and strategy execution to autonomous agents, fundamentally changing trading behavior. However, the industry currently lacks a comprehensive infrastructure that balances execution efficiency with security while preserving user control and enabling AI Agents to participate in onchain interactions and operations.
Onchain OS, according to Lennix, is a solution designed to address this gap. By integrating trading, data, security, and settlement capabilities, the system allows AI Agents to make decisions and execute transactions within a unified framework. As collaboration between agents and between agents and humans strengthens, the market is expected to evolve from “human-to-system” interactions to a “multi-agent coordination” network structure. Lennix emphasized that open ecosystems and foundational infrastructure will be critical to this transition, with opportunities for users to leverage AI Agents in this emerging landscape.

The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission will publish a framework in April 2026 that will allow licensed virtual asset trading platforms to conduct secondary-market transactions of tokenized assets, with the first batch including money market funds and future expansion to stocks, bonds, and more. This will make Hong Kong the first market to use Web3 infrastructure, and it will advance in step with the regulatory technology “CrypTech” to establish a regulatory template for tokenized finance. The move is intended to secure Hong Kong’s position as an Asia-Pacific digital-asset hub and to create competitive pressure on Taiwan-based industry players.
