KALSHI-0.24%
According to New York Post on June 4, Polymarket alleged that rival prediction market platform Kalshi may be conducting corporate espionage against its New York office and employees. Polymarket's marketing director confirmed an internal investigation, citing too many coincidences and alleged bad intent. The company compiled a file titled "Copycat" documenting about a dozen suspicious events, including: Kalshi launching a similar flash sale approximately nine days before Polymarket's planned February 12 launch, and Kalshi announcing a perpetual contracts product just one hour before Polymarket's April 21 announcement. Kalshi's spokesperson denied all allegations, calling Polymarket's suspicions "pitiful and near-delusional."
