According to Jin10, Rhein Biological disclosed on May 18 that its stevioside RM2 (a natural sweetener) food additive certification application is currently under regulatory review in China, with final approval timing remaining uncertain. The company has already obtained FDA GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) certification, enabling overseas compliance and commercialization. Production facilities for the synthetic biology division are operational, positioning the company to expand international markets and gradually scale up capacity.
