Kagome Shifts Iconic Tomato Sauce Packaging to Transparent Design Due to Ink Shortage

According to Jin10, on May 15, Japan’s largest tomato sauce maker Kagome announced it will shift to transparent packaging due to printing ink supply shortages caused by Middle East tensions. The company, which maintained its iconic white packaging with tomato graphics for over 40 years, will begin the transition from late May, retaining only minimal tomato imagery on the new transparent packaging.
